Job Description

SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to open and close tables and provide exceptional table games dealing and customer service to guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for protection, control and the integrity of table games.
2. Maintains accurate and professional dealing of cards and cash or chip transactions at assigned table.
3. Responds to guest requests, provides information and assists guests in a timely manner.
4. Responsible for the count and verification of tables, start up chips and the count and verification of all cards.
5. Closes out assigned tables that may include cash, chip, shoe and card reconciliation.
6. Informs supervisor or Pit Administrator of any important or suspicious facts regarding specific players.
7. Notifies supervisor, security or facility administrator of situations that may affect guests, associates or the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.
8. Maintains appearance and cleanliness of tables and table games area.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Receives direction and supervision form the Table Games Supervisor, Pit Administrator, or Table Games Manager on a daily basis.

POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Occasional contact with associates at all levels within all departments of the organization.
External: Continual contact with guests and visitors.

EDUCATION: A High School education or equivalent is required.*

EXPERIENCE: Six months dealer and/or customer service experience is preferred. Successful completion of Table Games Training or dealing experience with another property within one year is required. *Note: in lieu of a high school diploma or equivalent, five years dealer or customer service experience is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Must possess basic math and cash handling skills, and have a customer focus. Must be able to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact. Must maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
1. Work Conditions: The majority of position responsibilities are performed on the gaming floor with exposure to differentials in temperature and air quality.
2. Exposure to Hazards: May be exposed to situations where spills, wet floors or guest behaviors may create undesirable conditions.
3. Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, stand, bend or lift for extended periods of time.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to be licensed by the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Gaming Commission.

OTHER: Must be able to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays and be available for call in to work on short notice. Must attend all mandatory meetings and participate in training and development sessions.
